STUDENT GOVERNMENT (SGA) HOME

Student Government at Ninety-Six High School is an ever-growing program.  The student government is meant to be a club representing its student population with pride and dignity.  Our student government students are intended to be the student servants of the school and help to meet the needs of the school.  Working hard to grow our school spirit, we will host Homecoming and the Homecoming Pep Rally.  This year we will complete 2 big service projects and help to beautify our school.  If you would like to be a part of the change happening here at Ninety-Six High School, please read below for the requirements of what you are expected to have in order to participate. 

 

These are the requirements for the 2026-2027 School Year (Requirements will change in the 2027-2028 School Year.)

 

Requirements to participate in Ninety-Six High School Student Government:

~ 3.3-5.0  GPA (Student Body Members must have a minimum of 3.5 GPA.)

~ No ISS or OSS in the semester prior to the election

~ The petition must be completed and submitted by the deadline.

~ Must acquire the signature of 20 students IN YOUR GRADE and 4 teachers

 

If elected to this office, you will be expected to:

~ Maintain GPA

~ Avoid discipline problems

~ Attend regular meetings each month (You may only have 4 unexcused absences for the year)

~ Attend called meetings whenever possible

~ Complete required service hours (14 Approved Hours for the year)
