All sophomores and select juniors will take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Students are encouraged to get a good night's rest and eat a healthy breakfast the morning of testing!

Friday, September 13, NSHS students had the opportunity to learn about a variety of careers for Job Shadowing Day. Students were responsible for arranging a field experience in a career of their choice. Then, students were able to spend a day gaining "real-world" experience in their chosen career.

Ninety Six High School Culinary Arts received awards at International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach during the South Carolina ProStart leadership conference! We are proud of Mrs. Baumberger and her students!

Homecoming Week culminated with a pep rally and football game, along with the crowning of Zayvion King and McKendree Davis as Homecoming King and Queen.

This week's football game will be played at Pelion on Friday, October 4 at 7 PM. Tickets are $8 cash at the gate. The stadium address is 510 Main Street, Pelion, SC. Please do not use the school's address.

Intersession make-up days scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, September 30-October 1, have been cancelled.

In response to the potential severe weather from Tropical Storm Helene, Greenwood School District 52 has scheduled an eLearning Day for Friday, September 27, 2024. All schools will be closed and students and staff will not report to school. Additionally, all after-school activities on Thursday, September 26 are canceled.

The JV Football game vs. Christ Church will be played tonight (Wednesday, 9/25) at 6:30 PM. The volleyball game scheduled for Thursday, 9/26 will be rescheduled for a later date.

Conferences will be held Tuesday, September 24 and Thursday, September 26. Both days, teachers will be available to meet with parents from 3:30PM until 7:00 PM.
