A group of seniors attended the Hire Summit held at the Arts Center of Greenwood on Wednesday, April 9. They were able to network, meet employers, and share their resumes!

The NSHS Indoor Percussion Ensemble performed their show "Sweet Dreams" and finished 20th in the WGI- PSO World Finals held in Dayton, Ohio!

NSHS will host Fresh Start, an event for all rising freshmen planning to attend NSHS during the 2025-2026 school year, on Thursday, May 8 at 6PM. Rising 9th graders will have the opportunity to meet the staff, tour the school, and sign up for clubs and other activities! We look forward to meeting the Class of 2029!

Students who need to make up absences have several opportunities to do so during the month of April. Students will meet in the NSHS Media Center from 3:30-4:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. One hour is equal to one absence.

As the end of the school year approaches, we will have several opportunities for students to show what they know! Spring testing dates have been set. Students will need their fully charged Chromebooks for testing days.

Aidan Walsh competed at Skills-USA at Greenville Tech on March 14, where he represented Ninety Six High School and the Frank Russell Technology Center. He took the Painting and Refreshing portion of the test, which took a total of 7 hours to complete. Aidan's RTC teacher, Mr. Michael Gantt, was able to attend but could offer no help. Aidan scored an amazingly high score and took 1st place!

We are thrilled to announce the Class of 2025's Honor Graduates. At the conclusion of quarter 3, these students had a GPA of at least 4.5. Honor Graduates will be featured in the graduation ceremony program. Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment!

Congratulations to the 2025 Junior Marshals. Junior Marshals represent the top 10 students of the Junior class. They will distribute programs and assist the Class of 2025 at graduation. Graduation will be Thursday, May 29 at Lander's Finis Horne Arena.

Congratulations to Savannah Farmer and Za'Lea Lomax who will represent NSHS as delegates at Palmetto Girls State, and to Kellar-Ann Traylor and Camden Wilkie, who were selected as alternates. Also, congratulations to Michael Clements, Antraevis Johnson, and Kayden Payne, who will serve as delegates at Palmetto Boys State! We know you all will represent NSHS well!
