My name is Sherry Watson and I have been working for Greenwood 52 School District for 20+ years, and teaching at Ninety Six High School for 15+ years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of North Carolina located in Asheville, North Carolina. I teach Pre-AP English, English IV CP and Creative Writing at Ninety Six High School, and I am also the faculty advisor for the National English Honor Society. I have been married to my husband, Joe, for thirty-eight years, and we have two wonderful sons, Hunter and Josh. I am also "Mimi" to my three beautiful granddaughters, Blake, Brayden and Brett. My hobbies include reading, gardening, and sports.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that students don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. I demonstrate that care by building meaningful relationships with my students and helping them discover their strengths. By fostering confidence and self-belief, I support them in achieving success--because I believe in them, even before they believe in themselves.
