Hi!
I'm Olivia Ashley! This year I will be teaching Earth Science, Biology 1 and Biology 2 at NSHS. I was born and raised in Ninety Six and graduated NSHS in 2017. After I graduated high school I attended Clemson University, where I graduated in 2021 with my B.S. in Science Teaching, and then in 2022 with my M.A.T in Teacher Residency. I have been teaching for 5 years, but this is my first time teaching high school. I am so excited to be back home in Greenwood 52 and hope to make a difference in the lives of my students, like so many teachers did for me in the past. I have many passions and hobbies, but I particularly enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports (Go Tigers!), and hanging out with my dog, Bubba. I enjoy learning new ways to become a better teacher, as well as a better daughter, sister, and, now a mother, as I am expecting a baby girl in November of 2026! My hope is that each student who comes into my classroom feels accepted, heard, and learns more about their own passions (and maybe a little bit of science) for the time that they are with me everyday. I look forward to watching all of my students grow a love of learning and science and hope that this school year brings a lot of growth, learning, and new opportunities.
