My name is Sherry Watson and I have been working for Greenwood 52 School District for 17+ years, and teaching at Ninety Six High School for 12+ years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of North Carolina located in Asheville, North Carolina. I teach Pre-AP English, AP English, and Drama at Ninety Six High School, and I am also the faculty advisor for the National English Honor Society. I have been married to my husband, Joe, for over thirty years, and we have two wonderful sons, Hunter and Josh. I am also "Mimi" to my beautiful granddaughter, Blake. My hobbies include reading, gardening, and sports.

My teaching philosophy is that students do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care. I show my caring by forming relationships with my students and trying to help them find their strengths so they can believe in themselves the way I believe in them and achieve success.
